Here's how character creation works: You fill out this form, and then complete the RP Sample. From there, we will either approve or deny your character, based on whether your roleplaying is good enough to have the character you want to play as. This is to ensure that the most powerful characters end up in the hands of the most skilled RPers, to prevent godmodding and other general stupidity.
BEFORE YOU EVEN START THE PROCESS
Now for the application process.
Character
Name: Self-explanatory
Alias: Nicknames count ere
Birthday: 12-46 Interplanetary Era
Age: 16-50 please
Height: Can be either cm or Feet and inches
Weight: Can be either kg or lbs
Blood Type: A, B, O, or AB
Genetic Type: Natural, clone, or Augmentation (if Augmentation, state what generation)
Faction: Colony Alliance of Space or Earth Sphere Alliance Federation or Lunar Rebellion or Total Mars Military
Appearance: If you use a pic here, keep it PG-13
Biography: A brief summary of your character's life so far. if they are an unknown, meaning they don't know about it, post it but say that they don't know about it.
NPCs: If you need NPCs, explain a little bit about them.
*Boarding Machine: The name of the mobile suit you pilot. this is starred, as you do not have to pilot. You may be and engineer or a ship captain as well.
RP Sample: the sample will determine what tier your character is allowed to be. DO NOT use text from another site!!! We will look for this the most.
Tiers
Tier 1 Enlisted Pilots and Enlisted Engineers - A few paragraphs, 250 words or more will do just fine. Lowish standards on Spelling and Grammar. Basically, it must be literate.
Tier 2 Officers Pilots, Officers Engineers and below A slightly longer sample must be written. We'll accept a minimum of 450 words. We'll look at it a little more carefully. (two NPCs for your Fire-team required.)
Tier 3 Ship commanders, Command Pilots, Command Engineers and below An even longer sample will be required. The minimum for this tier is 700 words. The standards will be raised yet again. (Four NPCs for your squad are required.)
Tier 4 Gundam Pilots and below A very long, very well-written sample required. 900 words minimum. Admins will check extremely carefully for god-modding, spelling, and grammar. A moderator must sponsor the character. (Four NPCs required, though they do not have to be for your squad. Gundam pilots are also not required to have squads, though they may be part of a squad lead by a higher rank.)
Tier 5 Army Generals, Navy Admirals, and Cosmic Admirals A very, very long, very very well-written. 1,200 words are required at bare minimum. God-modding, spelling, and grammar will be checked to the fullest of our abilities. (6 NPCs are required. If you command a ship, they must be the crew of the bridge. Generals also have the option of piloting a Gundam if they so desire.)
*Military ships and Gundams that already are in use in a Gundam series at the time of creation will not be allowed. This includes names. Other mobile suits not already listed in the Armory will be considered Customs.
Mobile Suits
Model number: The prefix number such as "GAT-X105"
Code name: The codename or nickname of the suit such as "Strike Gundam"
Unit type: States how the unit will be used
Operator: Explains the faction the suit was designed for. Note: not EVERYONE will have a stolen mobile suit... *ahem* Gundam: SEED...
Accommodation: Really only applies to a suit you created yourself. otherwise, it is simply "Single pilot in standard cockpit"
Height: Please use meters
Weight: Metric Tons here, please
Armor materials: Normal suits will use titanium alloy, Gundams require gundarium alloy, customs may use whatever you want.
Powerplant output: Normal suits will be between 1200kW to 3000kW, depending on the RP sample. Gundams may have between 4500kW and 9000kW. Customs may not exceed 9000kW
Sensor radius: Normal suits will be up to 14000 meters. Gundams may have up to 25000 Meters. Customs may have up to 25000 meters This may include hardpoints for mounting Joint packages or Junction packages.
Equipment and design features: Special features of the suit
Fixed armaments: weapons that are built-in to the mobile suit.
Optional armaments: Weapons that can be attached and detached as you wish. This may include Joint or Junction packages.
