Hello and welcome to our humble home of Roleplay goodness.
First off, let me just lay down a few ground rules. These rules apply to every member, young and old, so listen up.
1. Stick to the plot line that this site uses.
All information on the current plot can be easily found in the RP section. Before you even think about making a character, make sure you read up and understand what's going on in the story. This will help you to give a brief biography as well as the mobile suit you use.
2. Keep your Roleplaying reasonable.
Regardless of if it is in your character's profile or in the mission itself, keep your roleplaying reasonable. No character, no matter how skilled and trained they are, is perfect. Characters sometimes fail missions, go mad, get wounded and even die. Keep these things in mind while roleplaying. God moding is one thing we do not tolerate.
3. Here are some other Roleplay related rules you should remember to keep the experience as real and enjoyable as possible. No one likes a God moder...
GMs, Zakus, Gelgoogs, and other Standard pilot mobile suits will have a hard time against something powerful, such as a Gundam. In high numbers, though, they may possibly take one down. This all depends on pilot skill as well as
Remember, its ok to get wounded or even die. Getting wounded is all part of the experience. Do not think you can run into a squad of Gundams and have all your men come out completely unharmed unless you have a damn good reason, such as the Strike Freedom with Meteor.
Remember the chain of command. If a person's character is of a higher rank than yours and tells you to do something, you better do it or at least consider it. Chain of command is important to keeping order and making sure people know what to do and when. By all means people of a higher rank have no reason to order your character to get killed but they are expected to at least give you orders which you are advised to take.
If you do something amazingly stupid, your character will be killed. Useful Dave gave a great example for what would get you killed: "Newb threw a grenade on a stealth mission in the middle of a Zaku encampment, he and squad B's characters next to him all get killed by the surrounding Zakus."
4. Basic Forum Etiquette.
Racism or offensive posts out side of RP will not be tolerated. Flaming, trolling, or anything that can cause problems will be dealt with severely. The consequences are not ones you will appreciate. They range from, but are not limited to; warning level increases, restrictions in the main RP, removal of characters, deletion of all posts in the RP, banning, and more.
All advertisement is denied unless permission is given by a moderator before hand. Please PM any moderator with your advertisement request before you make your thread.
Put effort into your posting. We are not all Shakespeare but we can all put time and effort into our responses. It's much more enjoyable and easier to read a post which is well thought about and well written than it is to read something you knocked up in 10 seconds.
Please wait a minimum of 24 hours before double posting. The plot must go on but if you want to continue your last post, you may by all means modify it until you reach your 60,000 character limit. When you make an edit, you can post in the OOC thread and say you added to your last post.
Don't talk back to the staff. It will not end well for you. If the staff tell you to shut up, you shut up and move on. Too many problems have come up because of back-talk.
Don't control Player Characters that are not your own, no dictating consequences or actions. This is godmodding.
5. Character Profiles
Every Character must have a complete character profile. NOT a work-in-progress.
Every Character must be original, canon characters are not allowed.
All profiles must have the Acceptance of a Moderator before beginning to RP.
After completing the changes requested by the reviewing mod, post "Revised" in your character thread. This is to notify a mod that your profile has been changed and is ready for reassessment. Do not spam this though to put your profile at the top of the list. We will get to it.
It is recommended that you update your Bio following every major event in your character's life, be it inside the main Rp or otherwise.
6. Character Limits
Members may make as many characters as they want, but you can only use up to 5 active Characters. This means that you can have 55 characters, but 50 of them will be useless unless you pull a character out of the entire mission or kill one. BUT, you may have up to 10 if there is a Secondary Mission going on. 5 in the main, 5 in the secondary.
I'll say this again simply. In the Main Mission... a player can only have '5' active characters. Once a character is in play, it must be killed before a new character can be put into place. Another way out is if a Staff member gives the go ahead due to more important reasons.

These are the rules. Abide by them and we'll all get along just fine. ;D
